"French Caribbean" refers to islands that are still governed by France or still display French and Caribbean cultural influences in cuisine,  style and architecture.  These islands provide a fascinating combination of culture with friendly French-speaking or French Creole-speaking locals waiting to welcome you to their beautiful anchorages and places of interest.  We can arrange a fixed cruise around this stunning group of islands or go ‘a la carte’ and let you choose your favorite stopping off points.

Day 1…   Rodnaye - Le Marin, Martinique
A pretty port that lies at the head of a deep bay, Le Cul-de-Sac du Marin, on the southern end of Martinique with one of the largest marinas in the Caribbean.

Day 2…   Le Marin - Anse Mitan
The main destination for those visiting Martinique and a popular spot with yachts. Marina Pointe de Bout is close by at Trois Ilets.

Day 3…   Anse Mitan - St Pierre
Once the economic capital of the French West Indies and described as a small version of Paris, St Pierre is now a peaceful little community on the northwest coast of the island.

Day 4…  St Pierre - Portsmouth, Dominica
Stopping off at Dominica’s second-largest town situated on Prince Rupert Bay to drop anchor and perhaps take in some whale-watching or excellent diving.

Day 5…   Portsmouth - Ile de Saints
Today we head for this picturesque group consisting of two main islands, Terre-de-Haut and Terre-de-Bas, plus seven smaller ones to explore.

Day 6…    More Ile Saintes, different anchorage
There are about 3,000 inhabitants, split between the two main islands. There is just one doctor, and his home, on Terre-de-Haut, resembles a ship's prow and is something of a local landmark

Day 7…   Ile de Saintes - Basse Terre.
Finishing off in the capital city of Guadeloupe with its fine sights and historical places of interest.
