Travel insurance is always recommended in case of unforeseen circumstances. Your charter agreement will detail insurance provisions onboard. The yacht is insured by the owner during the charter, however owners insurance does not cover loses incurred by guests, therefore it is recommended that you purchase additional coverage to protect you and your guests from any unforeseen mishap. Damage to the yacht caused by you or your guests beyond normal wear and tear is your responsibility.
